IMAGE1OF12|TINY STUDIOS: BIG PRICE TAGS IN SF
1a. By far the smallest (and perhaps most depressing, but the price is right!) is this 150-sq.-ft. abode in Sunset/Parkside.For $500 a month, this is a “furnished” studio.

The average adult over 30 is likely fed up with roommates, but buying a home in SF is pretty hard solo, as is renting a 1-BR these dayswith the average rent for such a unit running over $3400 a month. So, would be renters logically turn to studios.

In these rather insane days for San Francisco’s rental market, anything may pass as a studio. A glorified closet, if someone is willing to pay, may stand in. And unfortunately, even something as small as210 square feet rents for $1890 a month.

    It’s better thanrenting a tent in someone’s backyard for $900 a month.Or is it?

Peruse the gallery above for four examples ranging from 150 to 350 square feet, including photos, size and price, and let us know what you think.
