Russel 3k Company List in csv (free)

Good Morning, Traders.

I've been Googling around for 15 minutes, but for some reason, am finding this seemingly simple piece of information difficult to obtain. I did find the following, but it's not downloadable:

Can someone point me to a free downloadable spreadsheet of Russell 3000 equities?

Another freegan. Why not just subscribe to a decent source rather than wasting time with dubious sources? As traders, data is our life blood, why anyone would "go cheap" is simply bizzare.

 

Any recommendations?

Vanzndt did provide a good, free source. Nowadays a lot of data is freely available or if you know where to look or where to ask.
