Has anyone had any luck using WINE to get Das working on PopOS? I gave it a try and couldn’t connect to their servers to verify my log in credentials. I saw a Twitter post from 2014 claiming to have Das working fine, so I’m hoping it’s still possible.

I’m trying to get out of the Windows ecosystem for my work PC for a myriad of reasons, but unless my trading software is fully functioning on Pop/Ubuntu, there’s no point. Appreciate any guidance from you fine folks

I don't use Das but I have been running Sierrachart in Wine on Ubuntu 18.04 for a long time and never had a problem. I just tried downloading the DasTraderPro software from their site to see if I could get it to work but it looks like I need an account first.

My suggestion is, for the time being, install VirtualBox from the PopOS repositories and get the Windows 10 ISO from Microsoft (it's free) then install it in VB. Run Das in there while you figure out the kinks in Wine. Obviously not an ideal step but it'll give you some breathing room for the moment.

I ran Microsoft Mappoint for years in VMWare on top of Ubuntu and it worked out quite well. Kept Windows corralled in its place as just an application layer while Linux was in charge of everything else.
