Democrats slam Biden's top aide Ron Klain for dragging the president too far left after he promised to govern from the center The litany of complaints against Klain, a longtime Democratic insider, goes as follows: He 'micromanages' the West Wing, he's too deferential to the liberal wing of the party, and he pays way too much attention to cable news and social media. Two reports on Klain, 60, this week - timed to the one-year anniversary of Biden's tenure in office - were filled with criticisms about his work. Most are from anonymous sources, likely because they are about someone in the powerful White House chief of staff position. Moderate Democrats complain that Klain gives too much deference to their liberal colleagues with some saying he needs to be replaced, Politico reported. 'The president was elected because we all thought he was going to be good at governing,' said a House Democratic lawmaker told the news outlet. 'He was going to govern from the center, he was going to work with Republicans. And to have a chief of staff that apparently has decided that he's going to be Bernie Sanders, I think that's confusing. It's just not helpful.'
Klain under scrutiny as Biden struggles From inside the administration, some officials express concern that Klain “micromanages” the West Wing and gives outsize credence to cable news and social media. Some former colleagues and longtime Biden allies fret that advice they used to offer Biden directly isn’t getting through. And on Capitol Hill, Klain has been a favorite target for Democrats, and especially Republicans, who say Biden has drifted too far to the left.
If Biden had drifted to far left progressives and minorities wouldn't hate him as much as we do.He has put no real effort towards progressive causes.

You can flush Ron Klain down the toilet for all I care so I am not defending him. Nevertheless, they are scapegoating him. We all know that Joe has problems on multiple fronts so I will not replay the obvious. What is underdiscussed, and where it impacts Klain is that the progressive agenda is failing or at least hurting Joe badly in the polls. Not white boy Klain. And criticizing Klain and trying to take him down is just a ruse that allows insiders and supporters to criticize the leftist stuff and talk about how it is not working WITHOUT ATTACKING OR UNDERMINING THE PROGRESSIVES because that is fraught with danger and considered to be racist too. Joe talked out both sides of his mouth all through the campaign. He committed in blood and profusely that he was going to be leftiest most progressive president in history all while maintaining this undercurrent about having been moderate and bipartisan and Lunchbox Joe for decades so you should always think of him as Joe from Scranton. It's bullshit. He embraced every single progressive turd that anyone dropped during the campaign. Now he is trying to find a way pick up the turd by the clean end, as if there is one. The White House is on this kick now where Biden and Kamala have a messaging problem. Nope. They have a Joe problem and a Kamala problem and policy problem and it will only get worse by communicating more. That's why his handlers have kept them bunkered down in the first - because discovered long ago that having them out there was more disastrous than keeping them out of sight.The handlers are running the same ruse over with Kamala's shop. ie. Kamala is awesome but they have a messaging problem and maybe her third complete set of staff will be the one to make that clear to us. The first two failed. Yeh.
