There's winners, you know, people that invest their time and efforts into something and become successful... and there's that pos that wrote the article. Hanging with losers, thinking like they do: real bad. Boycott the venue, or at least the author.
It would have been interesting to watch the Rolling Stone staff watch that game last night. On one hand, we have a mostly white boy team. On the other, we have a diverse team from Duke, where the administration will hang you if you are white and they suspect you said the N word. But they are also a white and privileged private school. Guess they would boo every basket by either team, LOL. EDIT:Holy moly! I just read some of that article. Wow. There's a black heart. There's some real hate speech.
That would be the same Rolling Stone that wrote the fake UVA rape story, then basically said they did nothing wrong?
Some years ago, they made a great movie Almost Famous, loosely based on real events. In this movie, a kid writes a story about a band and sends it to Rolling Stone. But the magazine wants confirmation from at least one of the band members. When nobody acknowledges the story, the paper assumes the story is fake and does not run it. The current staff at RS must think that is hilarious. Fact checking and other nonsense stopping a story from getting out? HA!
Rolling Stone is a real piece of shit. Before the Northridge earthquake I worked in an industrial building that had a certain kind of construction. An article in Rolling Stone told how that kind of building was exceptionally bad in earthquakes, guaranteed to go entirely flat. I worried about quakes all the time, then we had the Northridge quake... The building was fine, all those kinds of buildings were fine.... I'm thinking that the shit in that magazine is rarely news but if the authors turned up tortured medieval style, that would be news
