Very strong production value and honest down to earth Americanism. I noticed also that Trump was able to speak unscripted to regular folks twice during night 1.
The libs will tell you Herschel Walker is mentally challenged and the poor guy doesn't know he's being used by trump for the last 30 years.
Good to get see something other than that America bashing trash represented by the DNC. Melania did a great job, unlike that trash Michelle Obama who said that she was never proud to be an American until her husband got the nomination.
Gotta call it like I saw it. Her voice was annoying as all get out, but even putting that aside, there was no heart-felt passion and the speech drifted from topic to topic and then back again with no apparent direction or cohesiveness. No inflection, no excitement... pure oratory botox. Trump sat there and smiled, but I'd bet a million dollars he was squirming inside. They had a golden opportunity with that time-slot. 30+ minutes of a unadulterated coverage by msnbc and with that, the captive eyeballs of its loyal nightly audience. Lets face it, that was a heretofore unheard of opportunity for this Administration to be able to speak to those millions and millions of Rachel Maddow fans, many of whom are the "white, college educated, suburban 'housewives'" that Trump so needs in MI, PA, WI, MN, OH. And speak to them for over 1/2 hour... for free! I don't know who he could have had speak, and maybe the only reason MSNBC covered it was because it was in fact Melania, but I don't think she delivered anything that changed anybody's mind and thus, a blown opportunity that rarely comes around. JMHO of course.
Tremendous speech by The First Lady---full of optimism and accomplishment and truths. Compare that to the negativity delivered by Michelle Hussein last week---
No doubt the msdnc crowd like michelle more than melania. Melania did a great job. She covered too many topics but at least she did not use her time to pour acid on everyone. Joe got no bump after their convention so he didnt change any minds either.
