College-educated supporters of the tea party might change their political tune if they mingled more with those less educated than themselves.

Researchers from the University of Notre Dame said college graduates are more likely to support tea party ideas if they live in counties characterized by high levels of residential segregation based on education level. The researchers found the correlation between tea party support and educational segregation to be uniquely strong compared to factors like racial segregation and class segregation. more . . .

Yes, it couldn't possibly be that the principles and objectives of the Tea Party simply appeal to them. It has to be looked at as if there's some disease that needs a symptom. Another article of complete horseshit. You sure do follow a theme, I tell ya.

    LOL!

  3. Maybe it's because educated people ran across the Constitution some time in their "education".. ??

Nah, can't be. The don't show that anymore in schools. You'd have to be half brain dead to believe in the constitution, right?

Tea Party Movement goals, which are as follows:
    1. Eliminate Excessive Taxes
    2. Eliminate the National Debt
    3. Eliminate Deficit Spending
    4. Protect Free Markets
    5. Abide by the Constitution of the United States
    6. Promote Civic Responsibility
    7. Reduce the Overall Size of Government
    8. Believe in the People
    9. Avoid the Pitfalls of Politics
    10. Maintain Local Independence

  6. Hard to imagine the horror of living by and being governed with those principles. Easy to see now why so many hate us Tea Party folks.

The data indicates segregation is the greater correlation.

You're right. Should be "Believe in the Citizens". People is way too general.
