In a column appearing in the Washington Examiner, a conservative news outlet, the embattled politician predicted that “some of my feckless colleagues in Congress” would call for him to step down. “No, I am absolutely not resigning,” he wrote on Monday (Tuesday AEDT) in one of his first public comments about the allegations.

Well... did you pay her? Did you bring her across state lines? If the answer is "No" to both of the above then 17 is above the age of consent in many states. Double check what state you are in.
Dude...that's a real horror story for me. I was in the military (an officer) and met the base General's daughter (17 years old)... She behaved just like that after using a fake ID to sneak into a local bar. She looked more like a Jessica Alba (hence my meme joke). All I could think about was Fort Leavenworth (prison) or some remote post in Alaska. She harassed / stalked me for about two months and then threaten to tell her father (the General).
