Epistemic arrogance is the difference between what you know and what you think you know.

On the other hand, An epistemically humble person will hold their knowledge in greatest suspicion. Be humble with your knowledge.

Be humble with the knowledge in your possession.

It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so. - Mark Twain or unknown.

And if you haven't already... read Black Swan by Nassim Taleb or even better purchase the Incerto (all of his books).. great reads that go into this further.

Are you epistemically arrogant or humble? Do not fool yourself.

I don’t get any benefit from that. Just giving credit where I learned it from. I felt guilty otherwise.
