I want to thank the pro gun ET guys who had great home defense discussions in the past. For those democrats who don't understand. This is one of the major arguments for why we have a right to have guns. You can't count on politicians or the police to protect you. We have seen law and order break down after riots or natural disasters. I remember being anti gun for my family because I had young kids at the time. Then I saw what happened after one of the big hurricanes, where law and order broke down. I thought to myself... what happens here after a big earthquake. My entire view on what was best for my family changed. I told my wife, it would be irresponsible to not be able to protect our family if things broke down. She agreed... Again, I have to thank the pro guns guys here for great info about home defense... what feels like a decade ago but it was probably more recent. I now have two sons who are over 18 with fire arms training. 2 nights ago they asked me to unlock the safe. I told them I don't think the protests will bother us with where we live but I will get the key ready. I don't want it to get to that... but its pretty cool not having to cower like democrats in cities hoping the police will do something. Thank God for the Constitution and the Courts who have protected our rights to be free.
Just be careful. California laws overwhelmingly favor the suspect over the homeowner. Doesn't mean you don't defend yourself, just makes it much more complicated. In Florida, bad guy means dead guy (as it should).
What these dopes aren't seeing is that there are thousands of neighborhood militias forming across middle America. Unorganized, yes. Many not really knowing what they're really in for, yes.
