I would like to ask if there is a service or a software out there that has more advanced charting than what is available in places like Marketwatch, Stockcharts and Bigcharts? I am in specific looking to be able to view any day in one minute increments for at least the last two years. Maybe I'm asking too much and this is not even possible with the best of them, I don't know. With the above places when I view one or two years I must always watch a daily, weekly or monthly increments. I can watch 10 days at the most on one minute. Thanks for any suggestions Comp
Medved Quotetracker is ok if you monkey with the charts a bit, not really robust, but hey, it is free if you wanna put up with those ads. Either that or $7 bucks a month, which is peanuts compared to other packages. Good for beginners....
Problem with QT and Sierra Charts is most folks like me use it with IB, which I have found to be cheap and sub par real time data, sometimes no backfill which means it is gone forever! I am sure the IB diehards will come to defend it, but I call as I have seen it in the 3 months I have used it. Too much missing data. I went on vacation 2 weeks, had everything set right and missed 2 weeks on the Euro data and yet had it on ER2, go figure.
