All, I could use your help in explaining/getting some background information. Within the last 2 days I've had 2 interviews for UBS Paine Webber in San Francisco. It has just come to my attention, (pm'd by another ET member) that UBS is being investigated by the NY State regulators and may be shut down???? Now I've heard of UBS (i.e. good reputation, visibility etc..) but can anyone confirm for me this information? IF so, should I pursue this job opportunity? I want to take it since I'll be joining a prop firm in SF and still want to work full-time to kinda ease into prop. trading, (they are literally located right around the corner from the prop. firm and it would be convienent to work their), rather than just jump in all at once.
