ive been a RANsquawk customer for years and although I have found it a great news feed I have seen them stop using dow, then mni news over the last couple of years because of law suits against the co. Recently I have noticed that important news from Reuters is now being missed. RANsquawk have not said anything when I have emailed them but has anyone else noticed this? I have a friend who said that both the founders of RANsquawk have gone as a result of infighting and I'm worried that they are going to lose Reuters and maybe Bloomberg also soon. I know a lot of you will say "squawks are for idiots" and that I should get my own news but news trading is part of my overall strategy and its worked out for me over the years. But if anyone has any insight into RANsquawk I would appreciate it
You can get your own Reuters Eikon terminal badged Metastock Xenith for $99 a month http://www.metastock.com/products/data/#EK/overview The quickest way to get economic figures on the web is to use http://www.marketwatch.com/newsviewer
Thanks for the suggestion. More worries though that RANsquawk loss of Reuters will lead to loss of Bloomberg too. And really am used to a news squawk as opposed to just a text feed.
www.money.net for $150 a month has a squarwk as well as being a text feed and data. I think Bloomberg are doing their own squawrk.
