An interesting exercise (well, at least it was for me).

I took the most common posters here, sans the obvious trolls (and no, I didn't dictate who was a troll by who I have on ignore or something like that, I merely considered CONTENT). If you wish to add some folks, do your own list.

From top to bottom, with the top being the most liberal/left/progressive and the bottom being the most conservative/right wing (overall, not just fiscal/social alignment). I included myself.

If I left someone out, I apologize. I tried to be comprehensive. Just speak up and if you're interested, I'll put you someplace in the list. This is just my view, so if you don't agree, just post your own! :)

  2. I have taken the tests, every time someone posts one, I have taken it.

I am a left leaning libertarian.

  3. nice job. close to the middle, lean slight right.

  4. BTW, you have essentially listed in correct order from left to far right.

  5. Lucrum

Tsing, thanks for rating me the far right standard bearer although I honestly think there are others here a little more toward the Rick Santorum far right than myself. I didn't care that much for Rick Santorum or his version of conservativism.

I also noticed a few in the middle of your list that I would move around a bit.

Your view of everyone is interesting, though.

  7. bath tao, what about tomdavis, bigarrow, ME, mav88, mav74, trefoil, piezoe, stu, yannis, denner

and can't forget my boy futurecurrents

edit: can you add just me then.. i'd be interested in where u place me.

  8. Good point. I'm not a big Santorum fan either. Conservatism is not a black and white point of view. People would call George Bush and Pat Buchanan both conservatives, but their views are far apart on a lot of big issues. Same with John McCain and Ron Paul, for example.

Actually, you could say that about Ron Paul and just about any republican officeholder or party official, which may explain the problems the republicans are having.

  9. Thanks, random - ya got that right {:>).

At any rate, I'd put myself next to "AAAintheBeltway" his posts reflect my view points and he says it better than I could.

  10. You are right in the middle Tsingy. Very Taoist !
