Say what you want about him, but at least he understands borrowing money non-stop to fund wars is bs. If you didn't hear it, or now read it... then you can't really reply with any degree of credibility. He said the whole damn bill should be renamed... "Ukraine 1st, America last". Rand is the ONLY politician I've followed daily on X/Twitter for the past few years. He's been on this financial waste theme for a long time. Check his "Festivus" report at the end of every year. It's been that way for many decades. We've become used to it... it's been normalized/expected on the state and federal level. Sadly, just about anyone can run for any political position. Then again, many are addicted to money (any type of money) and power. Yet, I give Rand Paul some credit not because I grew up in Kentucky before moving to Illinois but because he called out the insurrectionists as being WRONG and UN-AMERICAN although it put him in a little hot water with Trump and his big lie MAGA supporters because he believed the big lie by Trump. With that said, I have not followed the issue about the Ukraine bill but from what I've heard from fellow Kentuckians (military buddies) living in Kentucky...he wants someone in the government designated to follow the money to make sure it's been appropriately used as it's intended to be used. wrbtrader
