Raiders shell out $1.25M to settle cheerleader pay case A $1.25 million settlement has now been distributed to nearly 100 women who worked as cheerleaders for the Oakland Raiders from 2010 to 2014, ending a years-long battle thatset off dozens of other fair-pay claimsagainst NFL teams. The class-action suit claimed the Raiders didn't pay a minimum wage to their cheerleaders, failed to pay overtime and didn't reimburse for expenses incurred on the job.(San Francisco Business Times)
So that's $12,500 per cheerleader. ~$8,000 after the lawyers take their cut, then another $3000 to the IRS. So after all that they get $5,000. After a few new pairs of Louboutins, a cocktail dress, and hair and nails done it's all gone
All cheerleaders aside.... remember when I told ya'll about custom homes in Las Vegas being dirt ass cheap? Mark this one too.....The Raiders moving will change all that.
