" Sorry, Al is the beneficiary of nigger privilege.
Definition of nigger privilege. Nigger privilege is a condition where laws do not apply to you, you are not judged by school performance and grades, your work experience doesn’t matter, your criminal history does not matter, your behavior cannot be judged. How you dress, groom or speak cannot be judged. You don’t need to earn money to eat, or pay for a roof above your head. Your health costs have no relation to any behavior you engage in, and are paid for you in any case. Despite being a predator, you are judged a victim. There is no expectation that you raise any of the children you produce. You are celebrated by society for the simplest tasks, maybe by not punching out a stranger, or not killing, raping, or robbing someone. In short, you can pretty much do as you please without expectation of any consequence, legal or otherwise. "

This isn't free speech. it's overt, blatant hate. One of a never ending trail of posts that categorize people by skin colour and/or ethnic background that uses known inflammatory terms to bring back the KKK legacy in the US.

This kind of hate talk isn't even legal in Canada, the site could be taken to task to identify the posters to authorities. Apparently, the US lets a lot of this kind of shit go, because reliable sources have said many US based sites are havens for old style racist leanings. A trading site ? Apparently yes.

Is this site losing it's community ? Yes, open racism is a real turn off for decent human beings who respect others and their differences. Sure, you get to keep a small niche group who enjoy the stuff ( the KKK was a large club at one point ), but take a look at this sites clientele, a good number of them seem to enjoy discussing in P&R with frequent skin color labels ( plus political labels, etc etc ) being prominent in their posts.

  3. The meek are usually easy to pick on. Maybe growing a pair and fight back would work better.

Racism is ubiquitous and has very little to do with the N-word. I empower it by failing to spell it out. You empower it with your BS whining in this thread. It's just a word. True racism is far more subtle that the N-word.

I am sure that you've been called a cunt before. Do you see yourself as a victim?

There's nothing subtle about the racism downstairs. If one has a thin skin yet wants to discuss liberal issues with liberals, just ignore the more toxic members and discuss away. If one has to put them on Ignore, then one does what one has to do.

Freedom of speech and assembly and all that.

You didn't provide a link to the thread/post you are referring to, and you didn't mention the name of the user you are complaining about. Please put that user on your ignore list if he really bothers you. That's why we provide that function to begin with.

I'm no victim, but this site may be.

Quite seriously, some of the discussions here wouldn't last long in Canada, because very few people see colour, politics, and ethnic backgrounds the way some Americans still do ( as evidenced by the posts on here ). I suppose one could just laugh it off and understand certain portions of the US community are just ignorant, but when it's hate based talk I can't think it's all that positive for the world in general.

Given how some aspects of the US are quite modern and obviously many Americans are highly educated and socially progressive, I am amazed how utterly backwards some citizens ( and maybe their communities ) remain. It's like America has more then just financially created slums, it also has moral slums out there as well.

So consider me shocked by the backwards ideas, more what I'd expect in a third world country then the US.

You live in a country with a 1% black population. You need to grow a pair. You want to see real racism, try Europe. Or better yet, go in a time machine and stop anywhere in the world. Thank God we're not Canada. We actually have freedom of speech down here. Yes, even unpopular speech. Yes, this is a trading site. And P&R really has nothing to do with it. Apparently you missed the warning labels before wandering down there. Tell us more about Canada whitey. Hard to tell what's whiter up there, the people or the snow.

  9. Isn't it a bit racist to regard third world countries as places for bad people ? Do you know of a single third world country going around the world bombing and slaughtering people ?

Canada is an extremely diverse country. You need to do better research, and stop limiting yourself to labels like "black population".
