  2. This is quote stupid..you cannot measure racism nor does a poll of 2500 people tell you anything except what those 2500 people think.

Statisticians basically receive a degree in lying and get paid for it.

WTF?! Do you think that all polls should be completely dismissed or just the ones in which you disagree with the outcome? Are you a cherry picker?

You should tell @Tony Stark and @Frederick Foresight to stop posting polls because it is just what x amount of people think and they are useless as you inferred above.

  6. Not really.

If a sample is large enough and well chosen, then inferences can be drawn from the broader population that the sample is supposed to represent. The problem arises when samples are skewed and not sufficiently representative. Some "statisticians" deliberately engage in sample error. (Tell Rasmussen I said hello.)

Besides, racism may have indeed decreased. Who knows. But the existing racists have certainly become more vocal and open under Trump's administration, which has given them cover because of the things Trump does and the things Trump says. Trump gave them the confidence to emerge from under their rock.

I post continuing and aggregate polls which represent more than 2500.

  8. Uh calm down Francis, I have been discrediting and calling Bullshit on ALL polls. I have a Master's Degree that involves Econometrics and statistics used in polls are just formalized bullshit. SO I know that which of I speak.

  9. Exactly. WIth a country so geographically, politically, socially, racially, economically diverse, a poll of 3000 people with 2.5% made up margin of error is as fucktarded as those who cling to them.

HEY! Don't call me Francis. ;)

JFYI - In general, I agree with you.
