question about trading combination of calendar spreads of crude oil futures in NYMEX

  1. 1) I would like to know if IB provide futures spread trading (for example, can i trade CLES6M21, which is equivalent to long CLEM21 and short CLEZ21)? but i cannot find this symbol in IB, how can i find it? when i use CQG trading platform, i can find CLES6M21 but in IB i cannot find it.

    2) and if IB provide spreader to fills leg simultaneously? for example CLES6M21-CLES6Z21, which is long CLES6M21 and short CLES6Z21

    3) furthermore, if IB provide the composite spread graph, for example, can i look at CLES6M21-CLES6Z21?

  2. Overnight

    Overnight

  3. If memory serves me right IB's TWS does allow for calendar spreads. Type as instrument name CLZ21M21 and you should get the calendar spread for CLM21 and CLZ21. However, this is not available for all instruments.

  4. yes, the symbol is CLM1-CLZ1, which is long june and short Dec
because it is two symbols to form the spread, do you know is there a single spread symbol? i remember there is one symbol for it so we don't need to long one and then short another one.

also, i can't find brent oil in london ICE in IB, can you?
