Hello, I'm completely green in technical topics when it comes to connection, so I have a question. If I travel a lot and need static IP for my further trading (just a requirement from the cooperating company), what is the best way to do this that won't affect (or improve) my execution ? VPN with static IP, VPS, proxy ? Question is for connection straight to Binance, so not tradfi futures/stocks etc. related (but I presume solutions are similar ?) Any recommendations ?
All our VPS come with Static IP included, so you'll be able to connect to Binance with a static IP through your travels, anywhere in the world, and regardless of what wifi, mobile data, public wifis, etc. you're using, the IP will always be the same for your connection to Binance. For location, we have static IP servers in Chicago, NYC, and London for you to choose from. Send an email to support@ninjamobiletrader.com if you have any questions!
But as I remember you guys don't support Binance ? Just using some external 3rd party add-ons etc. ? Or something changed ?
Can you elaborate? Do you need a static address to access services at your home where your IPS only provides a dynamic address? In that case you can use a free service like opendns that let's you specify a static DNS. You can also use that service on the road and submit updates of your dynamic address you currently use to be linked to your static address. The free service requires to confirm your account once a month but you can pay a low fee to not have to confirm free accounts. It comes with a piece of software that automates the updating of changed dynamic addresses in their system. Or you can manually do so on a Webbrowser.
Like I wrote in my first post - I travel a lot. So need some solution when I'm in different places/countries (let's say for now in same region of world). If I would be in same place I would just pay my provider to have it static Or change provider
In that case DNS does not help. You need a VPN. You need to make sure the particular VPN is not blocked by the service you try to reach/communicate with.
Thank you for answer. But my question is what is better solution: VPN, VPS, proxy, in terms of affecting latency for manual high frequency scalping
Nobody but yourself can answer that question. Depends on where you are and the ping and bandwidth rates of your connection. The first problem you need to solve is gaining access. Then you can run traces and pings and figure out latencies.
The static IP addresses are registered to Chicago, NYC, or London, so would only be a problem if Binance blocks IPs from those locations.
