Question about 10-K analysis

  1. This may seem like a silly question but:

I'm analyzing Netflix and following the margins quarter to quarter for the past few years.

The problem I keep running into is that in the end of year 10-K the company does not report any fourth quarter financial statements.

This means effectively I cannot analyze margins in the fourth quarter.

Has anyone else had this problem? Not being able to analyze fourth quarter financials because the 10-K only presents full year statements?

  2. what about subtracting Qs 1-3 from full year?

  3. Often companies end their financial year after Q3. They'll publish their Q4 results in the following 10Q
