Hello Folks, Anybody still using QCollector with IQFeed? Anybody using CQG data feed, Rithmic dataqfeed with AMP Futures? Which one is best at executions when trading Futures? Which one is the most stable provider of data and execution? Is this forum reliable in any way or fill with pitch seller commenting under phony account? QCollector seems like a good software but have not been updated since 2012. The website is not https. Paypal payment is still available. But nor very safe. IQFeed still provide feedback about QCollector. Anybody using it still? Any bugs? I would thinq there is many. Especially if one is using NT8 data format... I use NT8 for Historical data analysis and MotiveWave for trading. I am in a trial until april 4, 2024 and there is a lot of bugs once you start to made it yours. I am looking for a good data management software for IQFeed. Latly, being with AMP Futures, I have been trying many trading platform. Still have not find one which is reliable enough to risk my money. All platform are all truly unreliable yet to me. The moment they offer what you need, customization make them unstable. Pretty much too many thing can go wrong with them. Updates fix one thing and create other problems. You login and hope for a stable trading day. You end up wasting most of your time fixing, recustomizing, updating, losing time, money, without never being able to really focus on trading. Anyway, I am just sick of trying platform. Regards,
I use QCollector + IQFeed. Works fine for me, but like you said, it does not seem to have been updated in quite a while.
Is anyone using this in 2025? I have not been able to open the program (get an error message about 'access violation'). Tried uninstall/reinstall, but get the same message. Contacted support, but no reply yet. I sent them a less important question months ago and never got a reply. I suspect this software is not maintained any longer and I'm on my own. Maybe there are simpler ways to download OHLC minute data in real time in 2025.
