  1. Putin offers ‘complete support’ to Iraq, Iran says Obama lacks will to combat terrorism
    AFP | Jun 20, 2014, 11.18 PM IST

MOSCOW/TEHRAN: Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday offered Iraqi premier Nouri al-Maliki Russia's total backing for the fight against jihadist fighters who have swept across the Middle East country.

"Putin confirmed Russia's complete support for the efforts of the Iraqi government to speedily liberate the territory of the republic from terrorists," the Kremlin said in a statement following a phone conversation between the two leaders.

Iran says Obama lacks will to combat terrorism in Iraq

US President Barack Obama lacks "serious will" to combat terrorism, a top Iranian official said Friday after an Iraqi appeal for American airstrikes went unanswered.

Deputy foreign minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian's comments followed a statement from Obama on the Iraq crisis in which he pledged to send military advisors to Baghdad but stopped short of further action at this stage.

I disagree ... what Odumbo lacks is a BRAIN! But that's what happens when you're a Community Organizer and end up in a job you have no qualifications for.

  3. I wonder what Obama's reaction would be if Putin dispatched a brigade of elite russian troops to Iraq and they started kicking some ass?

  4. He would be pissed, I mean mad as hell. No doubt a "sternly" worded letter would be dispatched pronto.

LOL!!! That's so sadly true! As for Putin, he's literally dangling Onazi by strings for the World to see.
I never thought I'd hear of Russian troops potentially cleaning out the shitbags in Iraq, ten years after my job was to clean out shitbags in Iraq... Mind bending doesn't even sum it up for me!

  6. This is what happens when a dolt like Obama and his affirmative action administration try to play geopolitics against Putin. Putin can take over Ukraine any time he wants. Instead, he toys with it like a cat with a mouse, just to show his contempt for Obama. He can cut off nat gas to europe. Instead he cuts it off to Ukraine unless the euros or the US taxpayers pay up Ukraine's multi billion dollar gas bill. He must be laughing his butt off. The west wants to invite Ukraine, with all its corruption and horrendous economy, into their club, they have to pay the exit tax. Pay it to Putin. Haha.

Now Obama has his weewee caught in his zipper in iraq. Putin could bail him out. Or he could pull some strings and make it worse. Either way, he wins, obama loses.

  7. Dick Cheney Criticizes 'Isolationist' Rand Paul.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Two prominent Republicans exchanged criticism over U.S. involvement in Iraq on dueling Sunday news shows.

Potential presidential candidate Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., criticized those who pushed the U.S. military invasion in Iraq and are now blaming the Obama administration for the aftermath it is dealing with.

"What's going on now, I don't blame on President Obama," Paul said. "But I do blame the Iraq War on the chaos that is in the Middle East. I also blame those who are for the Iraq War for emboldening Iran. These are the same people now who are petrified of what Iran may become."

Former Vice President Dick Cheney said Sunday he was a strong supporter of going into Iraq during the George W. Bush administration and remains so now. Cheney dismissed Paul as an "isolationist" who "doesn't believe we ought to be involved in that part of the world. I think it's absolutely essential."

Cheney says the U.S. needs to be realistic about the threat of Sunni insurgents in Iraq, citing a Rand Corp study that found that the number of jihadist terrorist groups have increased from North Africa to the Mideast.

"I think it's very important to emphasize that the problem we're faced with is a much broader one," Cheney said. "We need an administration to recognize the fact that we've got this huge problem, quit peddling the notion that they got core al-Qaida and therefore there's no problem out there."

Paul spoke on NBC's "Meet the Press," Cheney appeared on ABC's "This Week."

Cheney needs to propose a solution or shut the hell up.
He got us in... and he did a piss poor job of executing and doing anything but getting his crony buddies at haliburton and other places windfall billions.

oh yeah... and why the hell didn't he a bush set up the oil industry so we would be repaid for all the money and lives wasted... they promised that.
the problem is our leaders talk a big game but they all seem to suck when it comes to doing things the right way.

If you go to war... you win it completely. swiftly. ... or don't go to war.
If you build a nuclear power plant you figure out how to properly and safely dispose of the waste before you build it... you don't mess up the pacific ocean and the west coast of California.
If you are going to impose national health care... you make it work... and you pay for it.
you don't do this half assed crap that ruins the economy and tax payers lives.

You do your job right the first time and then you shut the hell up because everyone knows you did the job right.

  9. Rand Paul is naive. Obama absolutely dropped the ball on this. Like it or not, the United States has vital national interests in the middle east that won't go away by sticking our heads in the sand as he did.

Screw the leftist revisionist history to blame Bush and Cheney and protect Odumbo and the democraps, 111 of whom voted FOR the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002.

    <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Cwqh4wQPoQk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Iraq was going so well when Odumbo inherited it that Biden predicted it would be one of the "great achievements of this administration."

    <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/tLteUGkvpOc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

But Odumbo snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by ignoring the commanders on the ground who said we needed a residual force of ~20,000. Odumbo wanted out no matter what and used his "failure" to negotiate a SOFA as a pretense.

  10. The Hmong got fuct over in Vietnam... just an example of how the US goes places, makes allies, uses them, then gets tired of the game and goes home leaving them to suffer at the hands of people that hate the US. The judge that hung Saddam was killed yesterday! Who knows how many others... So now people are surprised that Sunni's are taking back Iraq? Saddam was a Sunni, his 15% minority held Iraq's Shias captive for a long time, probably they can return the place back to the state it was in before we invaded.

Personally I'm not partnering up with the US on anything and I live in the US, that's how untrusting I am towards government here, they are sneaky, lying, ignorant power mongers at every level.
