I have psychological hang-ups and some form of serious disconnect if I'm losing on Friday. Because of this, There was a time I would avoid trading on Friday. I usually take my losses and move on. But on Friday, this is not an option for me. I just can't stand going into the weekend with a major loss. So today after a pep talk with my ego, and cussing out those who kept buying ZB between 9am and 10:30, I settled in to fight and grind it out. It was gut wrenching, but I made it. Make Resilience Great Again.
Hello mikeriley, You already know my opinion on things like this. Psychological hang-ups are very easy to resolve.
Good Evening mikeriley, Get rich, and you will not have Psychological hang-ups. Simple and Easy. You not rich from trading, and you not trying to get rich quick from trading, that is why you have Psychological hang ups. Rich people don't have Psychological hang-ups. So get rich from trading, quickly quickly. Trade on Friday of course. Wish I can trade 7 days a week
That's an interesting perspective. I surmise that the interview couch of many Psychiatrists might be at odds with your assumption concerning rich people. Stay blessed!
Good Evening mikeriley, This manually trading business is about getting rich first, then you can play conservative in trading. You can't be conservative and scared of nothing while trying to get rich in the futures market. Let's get beyond rich in the futures market sir, it's the only cure for mental issues and all issues. And we have to hurry up too. This is a game of Lion vs Lion. Us retail traders have the best Edge in the futures trading game.
I am not trying to give you advice here but maybe you just got lucky this time? What you did was what every expert traders here told me not to do? My worst trading day in my short two week live trade history was this past Monday. After 10 trades I had a sizable loss (comparatively speaking). Instead of calling it a day, I decided to keep going. After 37 trades, losses kept piling up and I finally had the sense to quit before everything went to hell. Take care.
Hello ironchef, I perfectly understand. On these type of days where I lose alot, is the days where I learn the most. IMO, in this trading, the only way we learn to win, is by losing.
