I traded at a Chicago Prop firm for 8 years [International Trading Group, Northfield/Glenview IL.] and before that was a Chicago Board of Trade member. I failed as a pit trader but found out where guys were doing it on the screen for a living and got hired in April of 2000. That's what got me successful, AND it cost me a great deal of money in the form of profit splits. I remember the prop firm owner saying, soon after he hired me, that the reason why he hires and shares his intellectual capital, was that he could leverage that into way more success than just trading for himself. That's what we are doing with the education, minus the funding. We simply created a virtual community putting like minded traders together. Help them understand order flow and inter market relationships to trade across whatever time frame suits you. No systems, no secrets. I'm not smarter than anyone in this forum or on this thread, I was just lucky to grow up in the futures capital of the world and knew I was around pros in every venue I've been part of. It's hard for guys to break into this business because many don't know what they don't know.
I traded in Chicago for 10 years, and knew of some very big traders at ITG. Anyone with that experience in their pedigree surely is qualified to do what you guys are doing. The fact that you guys aren't selling some magic trading system with a 95% win rate is a huge positive. Good luck with things man.
