Hi, Looking for prop firms trading US equities, living outside US (London). Aiming for reducing execution fees. Is this possible in a reliable way? Need to do exams? Do you have experience with some of these firms? Looking at Nevis Trading Group at the moment. Thanks
Nevis Trading has the best reputation of any of the international groups. They have also been around the longest and are a long time sponsor of Elitetrader.
I've been using Nevis for 3 years and so far so good. Prior to that I used Echotrade for 11 years. Downtime was more frequent at Echo than Nevis. I've had no issues with Nevis so far.
I've also heard good things about Nevis trading and have consider trading with them. Do you know what their current fees are, and which platforms they offer?
Hey, Nevis is a good one, they offer good fees and profit share (depends on your volume). I'll also use Sterling Pro, they might have Fusion too. I have few other serious alternatives: MGB Trading and United Traders. I wonder how I could get more info about stability of the firms. Want to pick the one with low fees and low probability of default. How long was Nevis in business, anyone knows? Same question for MGB. Reg United Traders, they are since 2009.
I have traded with MGB Trading in the past. The company is good, the only issue is payouts are : 70% payout and 60c/1000shares clearing 75% payout and $1/1000shares clearing 80% payout and $1.80/1000shares clearing 85% payout and $2.30/1000shares clearing No per ticket fee The platform fees are at $130/month for both Sterling and Fusion Now I'm trading with G6 TRading (they use Nonko TRading as broker)
