Proof: NATO is obsolete
A critical infrastructure (the 2 Nord Stream gas pipelines) of a NATO country, Germany,
was attacked/sabotaged and badly destroyed, the damage going into multi-billion Euros.
NATO does nothing to protect or retaliate, so article 5 is worthless.
This just proves that NATO is useless and obsolete. Q.E.D.

 

Why would NATO retaliate against itself?

It didn't happen in Danish territory, neither Sweden's (which isn't part of NATO). Article 5 is irrelevant.

Who would you suggest NATO go to war with over the pipeline?

 

He didn't say WAR - that's your 'edit' to make it look worse.
And the reason is to protect its ally, Germany, which is in a very bad situation. Their energy security could have been solved by simply turning on the pipeline, but now, that's impossible.
This is clear, why pretend it isn't?
