Hi, if you're interested in lots of TradeStation code and charts, check it out: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/bo...?endeca=1&userid=176QWM9ICY&ean=9780971853645
Hmmm... first posting by "Mark Conway" is a book cowritten by Mark Conway. May I assume that you are a coauthor on the book that you are promoting? I know that I probably shouldn't encourage self-promotion, but I might as well ask. What is the difference between your book and "Trading Systems That Work" by Thomas Stridsman? For Stridsman's book see: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?isbn=007135980X (I've got no connection to Stridsman, but his book does contain some useful ideas on how to develop new trading systems) I'm just trying to gauge your background and the philosophy of the book. Is your book geared toward discretionary traders or automated systems traders? How much of the book deals with psychology? entries? exits? different types of tradables? Is the TS code available for download anywhere? Finally, what type of trading do you personally do? (type of trade, timeframe, type of tradable? etc.) I hope that you keep participating on ET with useful ideas and answers to the questions that I am sure that your book will provoke. -Traden4Alpha
