Hi, 1.5 year ago i have purchased Ninjatrader 8 life-time license. I have seen their promotion that they allow very low trading fee's and reduced day trading margin. I have funded my Phillip Capital account. After i have lost some of my funds, i have decided to withdraw it and didn't trade for a while. A few weeks ago i have sent them an email and said i want to fund my account again. They have replied me and said that my Phillip Capital account was closed and they are not thinking to open it again. I have reached to NT and PC and asked why my account was closed. They didn't want to share the reason. And I said NT team that they have to provide me what they advertised or refund my license back to me. They said i can go ahead and trade with IBKR. We both know their day-trading margins and fees. I said this is not something you have advertised for. Now, what do i have to do? I want my account back and they don't re-activate my account. They closed it giving any reason.
Unless you have money stuck in PC, then I'd jsut open a new accoutn with their other clearing firm Dorman
So why not just open an account with NT...they have competitive rates and offer generous discounts for license holders? They clear through Dorman IIRC.
I did but they closed my account on PC. I already have Dorman capital account introduced by Tradovate so that's why i can not use it.
Are you telling me that NinjaTrader closed your account with Philip Capital? I'm not sure I'm understanding this.
I think Phillip Capital closed my account with no reason. All i did was to withdraw my money and wanted to get back to NT.
OK...I think I understand the confusion. While I have no idea how long you idled your account with them, it appears that they no longer support the NT platform. At any rate, there are a few that do: https://ninjatraderecosystem.com/brokers/
I think you need to email NT and ask them what options are available to you. Something tells me that you are not fully informed. Not condescending, just being helpful. NT is a great platform and as a license holder you have a number of options.
