    Hi
    I don't need much services from a broker, so not sure it should be a prime broker, butI'm looking for a broker with an office in HK or Singapore and slightly better conditions than IB, especially when it comes to european stocks, cfds and options. I could open the account with north of 3 million USD if that's the minimum (I heard 3 and 5mil minimum for Newedge). Thinking that european brokers or banks would be better for the purpose of european equities.
    I'm not doing much volume though, don't even get to the the second volume tier that often with IB, although would easily do that with cheaper cfds commissions.
    Any advice ?
    Thanks
    Luis

    why don't you apply for a firm account at one of the clearing companies...LEK securities UK for example, or someone similar. Or is there a volume requirement?

    Sorry for getting back late to this thread but last few days have'nt gone the way I wished;
    i'm not sure about the volume requirement of Lek, i will probably call them and check from Europe with a proper telephone connection. They are not my favourite choice though.
    I've started contacting DB and ABN amro but I somehow doubt the capital is sufficient ( Not keen or not easy to put forth more than 4mil )
    Any more advice ? I'm actually thinking to go and spend a few days in Singapore for Financial related matters, but quite busy and would rather go with solid leads.
    I'm also interested to work with the (private ) banking branch of the broker to set up a new corporate structure.

    Thanks for all advice
