I'm thinking of making a bet on PredictIt. I've never done sports betting before, but want to make a bet on one of the PredictIt politics elections (I view this as a way of hedging. If I don't get my favorable outcome, at least I'll make some money.). What I don't like about PredictIt is that they charge 5% on withdrawals plus other fees if I win. Is there a good alternative in the US for PredictIt? Has anyone on here used it before? Since they only offer pay by credit card, does the credit card treat the payment as a cash advance? As it seems that this is a way to borrow money (deposit and then immediately withdraw the funds after 30 days as they issue a check). Update: Looks like credit cards treat the deposit as a purchase rather than a cash advance.
