    I got ya beat.
    I went long 1,200,000 of the "Forever" stamps in 2013 @ $0.37.
    8.33% per year.
And..... They were the Elvis Editions. Hard to put a dollar value on that. Ca_Ching!

i assume your remark was meant with humor., unless proven to contrary. having said that i have often thought about forever stamps a a hedge against inflation but came to the conclusion that the spread is to wide to make a profit.

When Crude Oil goes up, and it will eventually, Postage will rise again.

I buy 3-4 stamps a year, but I use my boxes, max 13 oz First class and for two something, send dozens of times a year, I think it best deal around and arrives most time 3 days.

You all still snail mail envelopes, with stamp things on them? Trying to think of the last time I couldn't email, PayPal, or ACH something, coming up blank.
BTW, I think the price went down because it was mandated as part of a previous price increase rather than an actual decrease in the cost to deliver mail. Running the beast that is the USPS has to be one of the most thankless jobs around.
