Portfolio Analyst question

Discussion in 'Interactive Brokers' started by SoCalOptionsWriter, Jun 9, 2023.

  1. I'm looking to print out a list consisting of only daily P/L or change in NAV, in cash or percent, preferably both, for each trading day this year. A couple Excel columns would be ideal. How do I do this?

Sounds like you should look at the "Performance" widget, select the YTD option and copy/paste from the "Time Period Benchmark Comparison". That said, I'm not crazy about the new changes to Portfolio Analyst... there seem to be some obvious "quirks".

Seeing want you want from an actual statement is probably more work though. So, I guess there's a certain amount of faith you need to put in the "Portfolio Analyst" tool itself. I noticed the "Risk Measures" widget sometimes shuffles the sharpe ratios around... have I really been running a sharpe greater than 2 for more than six months now?

Come the f*$k on! I don't believe it.

  3. Yeah, I'm not a fan either of the new Portfolio Analyst. Does anyone really care about ESG? It's IB greenwashing.
