  1. for your computer.

you would think that god, being all powerful, would make sure your visit to his marketing sight would be an enjoyable experience so that you would be more willing to join his cult. god might be all powerful but hes not a very good businessman.

    Porn safer than religion
A study by antivirus giant Symantec reports that if your anti-malware protection isn’t quite up to snuff, you’re probably safer sticking to porn sites and avoiding those that serve up Bible studies and other ideological exhortations.

Websites with religious or ideological themes were found to have triple the average number of “threats” that those featuring adult content, according to Symantec.

Web wanderers are more likely to get a computer virus by visiting a religious website than by peering at porn, according to a study released on Tuesday.

"Drive-by attacks" in which hackers booby-trap legitimate websites with malicious code continue to be a bane, the US-based anti-virus vendor Symantec said in its Internet Security Threat Report.

Websites with religious or ideological themes were found to have triple the average number of "threats" that those featuring adult content, according to Symantec.

"It is interesting to note that websites hosting adult/pornographic content are not in the top five, but ranked tenth," Symantec said in the report.

"We hypothesize that this is because pornographic website owners already make money from the Internet and, as a result, have a vested interest in keeping their sites malware-free; it's not good for repeat business."

  2. No wonder the right are moving away from religion.

  3. The simple answer is immature people like "free of thinking" are planting malicious code.

  4. i am smarter than god? god being all powerful and all tells us that since he does nothing to stop it he wants it to happen.

  5. Perhaps getting off your lithium meds was not your most brilliant idea.

And your point is? All I can conclude is that porn site owners are more web savvy, and and profit oriented businesses know that it is in their best interest to banish malware.

A preacher putting up a bible studies web site is not likely to know as much about web security and doesn't have millions of dollars riding on his ability to attract people to his site.

Putting on my tin foil hat, I might even suspect that Christianity hating atheists get a kick out of putting malware on religious sites.

  7. If he stopped it, there would be no free will. Men are free to do good or evil. Other men are free to try to stop it or be part of the problem.

First 3 words God spoke to man in Genesis are "You are free..."

  8. So peil, if god knows all, then why would he set poor adam and eve up to fail? He put that serpent and the tree in there, knowing eve would go for the okie doke and entrap adam.

Is that the work of a loving god?

Would a loving God not allow Adam to learn and think for himself.

  10. You gotta let kids figure stuff out on their own sometimes.

You are compartmentalizing it too. Perhaps, if Adam & Eve didnt eat the fruit, then it would just be them in the garden with God forever and they would never have had children. Meaning we wouldnt exist. After all Eve was not given her name until they were kicked out of the garden and she was named Eve because she was to be the mother of all. So if they had not set up to fail, then you & I wouldnt exist. Wouldnt that suck?
