First Read: “According to our August NBC News/WSJ poll (conducted before the violence in Kenosha), Trump held a 4-point advantage over Biden when it comes to which candidate better handles crime, with 43% picking Trump and 39% Biden.” “But on uniting the country, Biden’s edge over Trump was 23 points, 49% to 26%.” “And on race relations, Biden’s lead over Trump is 24 points, 53% to 29%.” “So despite the conventional wisdom, it’s not clear at all this issue is a winner for Trump.”
The problem is that in swing states Trump's polling is increasing and Biden's is sliding. In every swing state now (as far as I can tell) the polling is within the margin of error -- meaning it can go either way. This election is completely about the swing states. A nation-wide poll heavy with representation from California and New York means nothing. The riot issue appears to be a winner for Trump in swing states. Every night of rioting means thousands of additional votes for Trump in swing states.
If you can’t spin a particular issue in your favor, ignore and dismiss it. When that fails, attempt to paint it as meaningless.
Just like the 200k dead and 10% unemployment? You think people care more about their life and livelihood over riots happening under Trump's watch? Vote for Trump to stop the riots happening under Trump. Good luck with your theory.
Isn't that the same polling firm that had Hillary up 5 points 3 days before the election. Yep, it was. It was also one of the least accurate pollsters of 2016.
Riots are happening in Blue Democratically run cities. They could be stopped tonight if their elected politicians had any balls. Trump has offered help but they refuse.... hence this is the Biden/Harris issue as they will not denounce Antifa and are seen as weak on the criminal/safety issues. Every country has had problems with the Pandemic, let’s put the blame where it should be, on China.
