I've been giving you guys quite a bit of leeway these last several months regarding threads related to Trump's tariff policies but the party is over. Every day one or more people are posting outright political threads in forums that are NOT supposed to have political content in them. We have a Politics forum for topics related to government officials and political decisions so please use it from this point forward. The last thing I want to see is a bunch of threads with the word "Trump" in them on the homepage. So... If you post a political thread in the Wall St. News forum, the Economics forum, or any other trading-related forum, you will get a temporary ban without notice. If you continue to do it, the ban will become permanent. When you post threads in the wrong forum, I get complaints about them, so I've got to manually move those threads and then respond to the complaints. This feels like a waste of time considering that putting threads in the correct forum is basically just common sense. Please be mindful of posting political threads in the correct forum because there WILL BE consequences if you don't.
Apologies Baron. I am one of the guilty parties. ( @MarkBrown and I have seen the error of our ways and will try to be better Forum members going forwards).
The paradox, of course, is that politics play a huge roll in economics. Unfortunately... the problem is the manner in which the subject is discussed.
disagree, it is politics driven market, and expect the next three and half years to be remained so. btw, almost every main bloomberg news article has cheetos name in it, in recent months.
You have a point. But I think there's a fine line, and a few people, notably BrownMark, has been coloring outside the lines. Way outside the lines.
