Maybe I shouldn't be surprised, but for some reason, this video did surprise me.

It comes from those body cam videos. What was supposed to be a routine video of a police officer discovering a stash of drugs and using this as evidence against the suspect is nothing but this.

Because the camera is always recording, and saves 30 seconds of video before the button is actually pushed, what we see is the drugs actually planted first, just before they are supposedly found. The officer pushes the button to start recording after showing other officers where the drugs are placed, but because he didn't know about the 30 second rule, the entire fake drug plant was captured.

Is this for real? Is this really who is trusted to keep us safe?

More crooked cops. Disgusting. Body cams should be on whenever an officer is on duty. You shouldn't be able to turn them off.

    AAAintheBeltway and Gotcha like this.
  3. I agree. With today's technology, real time monitoring of them should be standard as well.

    Gotcha likes this.
  5. Apparently AG Sessions is in favor of expanding civil asset forfeiture BIG time!
Is there nothing left of the 4th Amendment?
What about the presumption of, "innocent until proven guilty"?

    :(

"Not only has this made cops look like an occupying army, it has encouraged them to act like one. Military-style police raids have become ubiquitous – as many as 80,000 such raids reportedly took place last year"
