I like this type of charting as it come back as far a Livermore, Wyckoff and Co philosophy of trading.
Livermore use a 1pt box with 3pts reversal. But time has changed.

    For stock trading into the
Single digit I'll use Box Size 10cts
Double digits I'll use Box Size 1pt
Triple digits I'll use Box Size 10pts
    with reversal 1

Same as with Candlesticks I check the dominant bar,
Pretty sure this is not the usual way of reading these charts,
But it removes noise +++ if we focus on the dominant bars + breakout.

Tell me anything related to P&Fs

    THIS IS JUST FOR FUN

Pretty sure this is how Livermore would think about PLTR
    3 points reversal.

    Uptrend, Downtrend,
Natural & Secondary Rallies / Reactions.

The point Figure chart was invented because, in ancient times, there were no computers.
You plotted those things on graph paper.

Nowadays, with computers, you can easily display better-quality charts with candlesticks.
And if you want, you can add things like trend lines ...

    I disagree.

    Mainstream chart are time based.
    P&F are reversal based.

Well. If it works for you, you should use it.

My usual chart is volume based.

Well … I trade Price :p Not time nor volume.
But I agree P&F isn’t easy nor sexy.

    Volume charts aren’t easy neither,
Not portable across instruments and cycles.
The volume has to be tailored to the peculiarities.

    Time charts are easy …
    5min works everytime, everywhere.
