Please: reply line by line to quote in a thread's post

    I have seen that there is a way to reply by posting a line by line reply to a longer quote.
    Please show me how to do that? Thanks MACD

    IMO ... The easiest way is to:

    • Click the reply link, as noted by the poster above.
    • Then copy and paste the quote how many times you want to break up the quote.
    • Edit each individual quote by deleting the lines you don't want.
    • Enter your reply as you see fit below the individual quotes.

    You could also LeftClick+drag to highlight a particular section or sentence. When you release, a "reply" button appears. When clicked, only the highlighted section or sentences will be quoted. Just like this post!

  5. Not good if you want to break up a larger post into smaller chunks.

    It would depend on

    How small and how you expect the final output to appear.
