A woman in Midland County, Michigan, had her Planet Fitness membership canceled after she refused to stop telling other gym members that a “man” was using the facilities in the women’s locker room. Yvette Cormier claims that when she went to exercise at her local Planet Fitness in Midland on Feb. 28, she came across a male gym-goer in the women’s locker room. "I was blocked, because a man was standing there," Cormier told WNEM TV 5 in Saginaw, Michigan on Friday. "It freaked me out because, why is a man in here?" Cormier complained to the front desk. “This is very unprofessional. This is very scary,” Cormier added. “They told me the same thing, that he was allowed in there because that’s the sex he wants to be.” Cormier said she understood that some men identify as women and that some women identify as men but said the person had a very masculine appearance. The person has not been identified. Planet Fitness is well-known for its “judgment-free policy” and a statement released by McCall Gosselin, public relations director for the popular chain of gyms, said that any member can use the locker room that corresponds with the gender a person identifies with. “Our gender identity non-discrimination policy states that members and guests may use all gym facilities based on their sincere self-reported gender identity,” the statement said. “The manner in which this member expressed her concerns about the policy exhibited behavior that management at the Midland club deemed inappropriate and disruptive to other members, which is a violation of the membership agreement and as a result her membership was cancelled." Meanwhile, Cormier believed the incident was “one-sided” and that she was “the only one being punished.” She also asked that Planet Fitness provide a third locker room for transgendered people. source
Turns out this is true. Too bad they aren't public, be fun to watch this disaster on Monday. They'll have 100% of the perv crowd sign up, guys wanting to use the women's locker rooms.

To be far to the liberals, this is also good news for more folks. From acne-ridden, weakling libtards living in their mom's basement to lecherous old men, *anybody* can stroll into a Planet Fitness and announce they feel more comfortable in the women's locker room. So they are playing to a bigger audience than just the trannies. A business is allowed to make the rules, including having the right to axe somebody's contract if they kvetch too much. So I am *not* saying that somebody should pass a law about who is allowed into which locker rooms when. But I think they do not understand their customer base. We shall see.
Typical liberal policy. Punish the vast majority of normal people to accommodate some pervert. You can be fired from your job for creating a "hostile work environment" if you have a picture of your wife in a bikini on your desk, but women have to endure pervs in the bathroom?
I'm not so sure they have the right to retaliate against customers who express alarm at having to share a locker room with men. It's a public accommodation and that implies certain obligations to their customers. Allowing men to invade a women's locker room would seem to be in conflict with those obligations. Could a hotel allow pervs to peek into female's bathrooms? Ddidn't Erin Andrews becaome a big celebrity victim over that? Was she just being an uncaring bigot when she complained?
i'm with ya.. no more laws for fucks sake. Any rational person who hears this story will think twice about an establishment this backwards, hopefully the situation works itself out.
