  1. Sounds like a great idea. We don't need just anyone running the country.

Physician GOP Senator Wants Annual Senility Tests For Aging Politicians | The Daily Wire

"A Republican senator is calling for annual senility tests for aging politicians, such as President Joe Biden, Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).

GOP Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA), a physician, said during a recent appearance of “Axios on HBO” that he wants cognition tests for aging leaders in all three branches of government, Axios reported.

Cassidy, a gastroenterologist, said that people generally begin a “rapid decline” when they hit 80 years old.

“It’s usually noticeable,” the senator said. “So anybody in a position of responsibility who may potentially be on that slope, that is of concern. And I’m saying this as a doctor."

Dafuq does a gastroenterologist know about neurology? It's like saying a podiatrist knows all there is to know about heart transplants.

    GOP senator smacks Trump
Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) told “Axios on HBO” he’s not sure former President Donald Trump would win the Republican nomination if he ran in 2024 — a rare voice of criticism from within the party.
    • When I raised the conventional wisdom that Trump would be expected to win the nomination, Cassidy jumped in.“
    • I don't know that,” the senator said during our interview in Chalmette, La.
The big picture: “Trump is the first president in the Republican side at least to lose the House, the Senate and the presidency in four years. Elections are about winning," Cassidy said.
    • On the possibility of Trump losing the nomination, Cassidy said: “Well, if you want to win the presidency — and hopefully that's what voters are thinking about — I think he might.”
Cassidy, one of seven Republican senators to vote to convict Trump at the impeachment trial in January, said he wouldn’t vote for Trump in 2024.
    • The senator said he voted to convict Trump because he took “an oath to support and defend the Constitution. And when there was a pattern of behavior that culminated as it did on January the 6th — and we've had revelations since — that just led me to that decision.”

  5. You do realize that our gut influences our f'in brain right?

We rot from the gut out! LOL

  6. Another thing, what you put in your gut can end up in your brain.

Alcohol and marijuana come to mind.

Come to mind. Get it? :D
