Performance bond increase incoming...

The notifications have not been released yet, but I can sense they be on their way, especially due to the holiday weekend. Watch for it.

 

They should call them Negative Performance bonds. They only get raised when market goes down.

That's not the performance bond increase place I was referring to.

 

The current margin requirements are adequate and protect the firms/exchanges, although they have the right to change them at any time. The recent moves were not a surprise or unexpected considering the levels we are currently at. If margin requirements are an issue for someone, then that individual probably shouldn't be trading.
