Those images, and real ages, are insane. I'm the complete polar opposite of those, I personally look ten years younger than my real age. Compared to people of my exact same age. I drink plenty of water, vitamins and minerals. I exercise and stretch and meditate for 30 mins/everyday. I get virtually no sun to cook my skin. I don't drink or smoke. I drink milk whey protein shakes. I minimize or completely don't eat junk canned foods, or fried foods or sodas and candy.
One thing that is definitely to people's advantage these days is hair color. I don't know a single woman over the age of 35 that doesn't get her hair colored. Even just getting highlights makes a huge difference in a person's perceived age. Same goes with men. Hell, I've had quite a bit of grey/white hair since I was in my 20's, so I've been coloring my hair forever. These days I would look like Santa Claus otherwise. Also it seems like makeup techniques have completely changed the game for women. I don't care how old a woman is. Give her the right makeup and she'll look dramatically better, 20 years younger, or both. But when you think about it, things like hair color and makeup are things that give the illusion of youth. Under all that, each person is still their old-ass self. I remember when we all got out of lockdown how many people's grey roots had grown out substantially and it was pretty shocking.
Alcoholic, heavy smoker, high stress job/life, could be many reasons for premature ageing.. But it was the 21 year old that looked unbelievable to me.
Those photos were a long time ago, Back then....people, society, had no idea that bad health exists: They would eat as much bacon and butter as they want. Consume as much liquor and smokes as they want. Eat as much salty and canned foods as they want. Get as much sun as they want. Vitamins, minerals and supplements virtually didn't exist then. I'm sure the tap water wasn't as clean and pure. Smog and dirty air existed from cars and factories. No one knew the benefits of exercising. All of these elements and variables can greatly, greatly, age a person.
Nothing has changed much. Im sure you can find instances today of kids in their teens who look like 20 to 25 year olds. And 35 years old who look 50. And 45 years olds who look 60. There was a court case a few years ago where a 19 year old guy who slept with a 12 year old he picked up in a night club, he really thought she was 18 (the age she told him she was and on also on the fake id she used to get into the club), and even the judge felt very sorry for him.
Norm / George Wendt was 35 when he started Cheers, it ran for 11 seasons so which season was the photo? Top row right could be 16 but he is not a famous person and it looks line a misattribute from some ancestry database. Lots of clickbait I expect. Teenagers were not invented until after WWII, before this there were largely miniature versions of their parents wearing adult styles. Give me a break...
