    Election denier

Labels any opposition as a Marxist/Communist

Low opinion of Jewish people (via a defense of Kanye West)

Reverse Racism, White race in danger narrative

Whining about cultural marxism, affirmative action

Recent headlines on “Frenly Frens” include “It’s OK to be White,” “Faking of Adolf Hitler for History,” and “Q.” The posts go on long diatribes against women, Jewish people, and Black people. One recent post referred to the Holocaust as a “hoax.” The writings also touch on popular far-right culture war topics, like “drag queen story hours,” “cultural marxism,” and child “grooming.”

Yet another post references frequent visits and posts to the /pol/ board of 4chan, an infamous board for racism and bigotry.

He published a drawing of the Devil kneeling and asking a caricature of a Jewish person to teach him the arts of “lying, deception, cheating and incitement.” Several contain lifelike images of rotting human flesh and blood, including a zombified Bill Gates and Hillary Clinton. Others depict headless bodies against bleak, dystopian landscapes.

These are just Republican party talking points.

    Except one: he's not Pro-Russia.

Neighbors described DePape as a homeless addict with politics that was, until recently, left-wing, but of secondary importance to his psychotic and paranoid behavior.

Wrapped up in their own obsession with Trump Republicans, most journalists have missed the real story. David DePape is not a microcosm of the political psychosis gripping America in general. Rather, he’s a microcosm of the drug-induced psychosis gripping the West Coast in particular.

David DePape was also (gossip) a member of a nudist group. Yet, there are online photos of him at nudist events fully dressed.

Thus, I wouldn't get too caught up with what he was years ago or what he did years ago considering what he was doing recently obviously has much more weight.

There are many people that believe the election fraud conspiracy theorists while a member of a different political group prior to the faked election fraud that results in them joining supporters of the BIG LIE...those mentally ill or have drug problems may be the most vulnerable to political lies.

In some ways, in a different time, David Depape could have been a follower of Charles Manson. It took a few years for the truth to come out about how fucked up those people were involving their ideologies and their political beliefs.

Simply, a lot of things about the guy doesn't add up and may never add up...not worth going down the rabbit hole to analyze him unless you're a psychologists or psychiatrist.

Nice try, do explain this though

DePape published six posts in support of Peterson and then continued with his own caustic takes on transgender people, saying they should not be a protected group. “They were not BORN a freak. They are not INHERENTLY a freak threw no fault of their own. … They are CHOOSING to be FREAKS,” he wrote in one post.

In the last week of September, as the Justice Department filed a motion seeking to compel former Trump adviser Peter Navarro to return government emails, DePape blogged his take: “No evidence of election fraud. Any journalist saying that should be dragged straight out into the street and shot.”

DePape was also active on the message board 4chan, a site notorious for extremist discussion, posting memes and debating other anonymous users about his beliefs, according to his website. In an Oct. 24 post titled “Disinfo Shill Tactics,” he complained that he was a target of law enforcement he described as ‘paid shills’ trying to manipulate the message board. “I would come in and lay out the facts and so all the paid shills would jump on me. To try and suppress it,” he wrote.

Certainly there are people on here that fit this profile very well. The thing is, many of these people don't know they are irrational. No amount of conversation will persuade them and social media and certain parts of the Republican party reinforce their narratives. Years ago, I asked is the P&R was representative of some significant number of Americans. Unfortunately, it appears it is, and more rational Americans haven't figured out how to reign them in. The negative consequences came to bear in recent years. Maybe a "Buy1Sell2" or a "FortuneTeller" are basically harmless ignorant slugs but not all of them are.
