Oh man, STFU, I don't have time to watch this old man ranting on about something he knows nothing about. Shouldn't he be more concerned about getting a viagra perscription? And who is he anyway? Oh yeah, from the looks of it he owns a youtube channel and rants about everything else going on in this world. So he really doesn't know anything about crypto except the odvious which he rants about to make it seem like he's an expert. Yeah, ok old man. Let's get you back to bed now.
Somewhere, a random new person will watch this once (first video about finance ever) & will be like : ,,I got this'' Life savings, all in, no time to play.
Notice that the OP did not say a single word. He just post the video and that's it. In fact, there are thousands of OPs who create new threads and they don't utter a single word !!!!! They are simply not creating value-added new threads. I am sure they themselves don't even watch the video! There are lots of new threads where the OPs don't say a single word, and they are not adding value. So DO NOT WATCH that video. It is definitely full of garbage.
On the most part, in other domains, Robert Reich speaks facts and stats, might not be your language. I haven't watched the video on crypto but sounds like he doesn't have a popular opinion. edit: ok, watched it, other than the cringe youtube marketing gimmicks what's the problem with: No standards for: Issues of Custody Risk Management Capital Reserves No Transparency Requirements Deposits are not insured Yeah, he jumps on the "Ponzi Scheme" bandwagon but that is a valid criticism to most memecoin Alt's and cartoon fiver remixed NFT's. The notion of $32 million in lobbying as a huge amount is a bit humorous though as well as a lack of comparison of Tradfi's political contributions and it's own revolving doors between regulators and private equity. Glass-Steagull Act was sound regulation. He has a valid criticism about it's repeal that led to the '08 sub-prime mortgage crisis. Should crypto have some type of regulation? With 3arrows and Luna as context, yeah, I would agree.
It is always amazing to me to see people speak so confidently about some thing that they haven’t spent much time studying or know much about. At times I wish I had this blind confidence as well, people believe you when you talk like this unfortunately.
