When I enter an order in tws it always prompts me for an order preview or order ticket which defeats the purpose of hotkeys. Is there a way to turn it off? I already went to API precautions and clicked every single box.

Since you’re trading manually then this isn’t related to API. Not sure why you’re even looking at the API.

You may need to change the settings in Order Presets. They are separate for stocks, futures, options, etc - so have to configure the ones you actually trade. There are precautionary settings at the bottom of the config screens for each of them.

Gave cs a call and they told me the transmit instantaneous feature doesn't work until I subscribe to live market data.

Gonna subscribe once I fund my account. Are you familiar with the subscriptions for stocks on US exchanges?

I assume CBOE ONE package only gives realtime price but not bid/ask quotes so I need nasdaq c/utp, nyse c/utp, amex c/utp as well?

  4. What you can do is to subscribe to one subscription at a time and then test out. Once you can do what you want to do you don't need to add more subscriptions.
