Hi, Curious is anyone has come across any tools for analysing your particular options trading style and previous losses / wins? My idea is to try and track things like the Greeks, conditions of entry and then look back and see what worked for me. I've taken a look at https://www.tradervue.com/ (this looks really good but doesn't really look like it was built for options) and https://wingmantracker.com/ (for options but doesn't do much but tracking) and https://optiontracker.io/ (specifically for options analysis, I'm still trying this one out). In addition to these I'm using Schwab, https://barchart.com (for finding options within certain parameters) and https://tradingview.com/ (for technical analysis).
The best way to track your performance is to have a trading log. Smart traders would have a record of all their trades to review. Things that work, as well as repeated trading mistakes will jump out at you if you are paying attention. I use an excel spreadsheet for my purposes. Also, a stockchart and ThinkorSwim thinkback function to go back in time and see how my trades would have worked if I made trade adjustments. "The most important thing is have an open mind." Leave your ego out the door, that is your best move. As traders we can all improve our performance and be much better traders.
