At Lightspeed, if you use Sterling Trader Pro, Eze EMS (Realtick) or CBOE Silexx we offer both a SMART route and the ability to choose your Option Exchange. If you choose your exchange, you are subject to the maker/taker fee schedule on those exchanges for single leg orders. We do not pass though rebates on spreads. Email me directly and I will share the schedule with you. My email is below.
A little late, but do you know if most of the exchanges that do offer rebates on options, offer them on spreads too, meaning x 2 basically? IBKR has a page with the main equity options exchanges and their rebates, and only 1 or 2 specifically mention complex orders...EDGX being one that does. So wondering if no rebates on spreads by others? I know amex and cboe pay no rebates, but maybe BATS, ARCA and a few others that mention rebates but don't mention them for spreads. Thinking maybe spreads aren't publicly visibile since they go to separate area, so no rebates...just a theory? Tried searching the exchanges websites but very difficult...lengthy documents. At Lighspeed can you route for rebates, or pick your exchanges? I trade intraday so rebates huge factor on spread open and closing so fee x 4. Thanks for any insights. EDIT my offers usually at Mid, so within nbbo bid ask spread.
