Which brokers offer the lowest commissions for trading options without charging ticket fees? Or a single ticket fee without charging commissions?
The number of contracts depends on the price of the options being traded. We trade options intra-day, and we calculate position sizes based on capital and margin. For AMZN call contracts priced around $30 we trade 10x fewer contracts than for SPY call contracts priced around $2-$3. For the former can afford to pay $1.30 per roundtrip per contract, while for the latter we cannot. I hope this answers your question.
I'm happy to speak directly. Our commissions start at $0.60/Option and with high volume drop to $0.20/Options. https://www.lightspeed.com/pricing/commission/. We do not provide lower rates without an expectation of higher volume or hitting those tiers in any calendar month.
Our retail debit rates are on our website. Institutional client's rates are negotiated based on Fed funds. On Sterling Trader Pro, Realtick and Silexx, we offer both an option SMART route and the ability to direct your options orders to the different option exchanges. The SMART route avoids most option exchange fees, and the directed orders are subject to the debits/credit the exchange charge on single leg orders. We always pass through the CBOE charges on cash settled symbols.
I can't discuss "deals" not on our website in a public forum. I'm, happy to talk on the phone with anyone and discuss their needs and what we can do for them.
