Consider what the political landscape would look like if the Republicans had the listed Democrat advantages, all other things being equal? Yes, disenfranchised Progressives stayed home. Perhaps instead of doubling, then eventually tripling down on failing narratives and agendas, Democrats could take a more reasoned approach, including listening to their working class constituents again. When Biden promised a populist progressive agenda in 2020 he beat Trump by 7 million votes. The above agenda got Biden 81 million votes,a number Trump didn't match in 2024.Biden didn't fulfill not even one of the promises above,thats why millions of people who voted for the above didn't vote Democrat in 2024.The problem for Democrats is not a progressive agenda,its the fact they don't fight for or implement a progressive agenda so millions of left wing voters stop voting for them.
